DESCRIPTION:
Ready to create something amazing? If you’ve ever been enchanted by miniature people and worlds in The Borrowers, Thumbelina, The Secret World of Arrietty, or The Littles, this camp is for you—and for big kids like me too! Together, we’ll take a simple storage box and lid and transform it into a stunning, realistic-looking book that hides your very own Secret World! Campers ages 7 & up will kick off the week by designing the book cover with layers of color, clay, and texture—oh my! Then, the real fun begins inside! You’ll build a two-story, woodland-inspired world with cozy rooms, stone fireplaces, and handmade floors. Picture bringing your own Secret Garden to life with miniature plants, tiny lighting to set the perfect mood, and all the little details that make your world feel real! Throughout the week, we’ll play with materials like wire, foam, fabric, paper mâché, and natural elements to build everything from furniture to food! This camp week will be busy, busy as we build up your enchanting Secret World—I can’t wait to see what you’ll create!
Fee: $395.00
TIME: 9:00am-1:00pm
AGES: 7 & up, all children will have equal access to instruction and materials. Each camper will create their own masterpiece, designing and crafting at their own level of enjoyment.
CELEBRATION: Join us for our Epic Exhibition & Celebration on THURSDAY @12:30pm
*Please plan to pack a sack lunch*
SNACKS, WATER & BRAIN BREAKS:
Please send a refillable WATER bottle to reduce waste at camp! Snacks PROVIDED (animal crackers, booty, apple juices, etc.). Feel free to send in your own snacks as well! Kids are so hungry at camp! Breaks are inside & outside throughout the camp day
CLOTHING: Please dress for our mess/possibly staining OR send in an ol' shirt to wear as an apron!
